Dara Hewat is involved in business development, debt and equity capital planning and formation, transaction structuring and acquisitions for Black Oak. Prior to joining Black Oak, Dara was a principal of MMA Sustainable Land Investments, a MuniMae subsidiary targeting investments in the emerging asset class of US environmental real estate on behalf of institutional investors. Also, while at MuniMae Dara was Director of Capital Markets starting in 2005 and later managed the sale of two business divisions. Prior to joining MuniMae, Dara began working in 1999 in the investment banking division of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown (“DBAB”) located in Baltimore. During his time at DBAB he worked on over $15 billion of transactions including acquisitions, public equity offerings and private placements. |
